Adopt a Critter!

Oh, how exciting! ♥ Somewhere in the Corner there is a little one waiting for exactly you.

Here is how it works: pick the species you like best, choose a color for its coat, and think of a lovely name. That is all! Adoption is free, it always has been and it always will be, and we do not ask you for an e‑mail address or anything else.

One critter per visitor, please — a critter likes to be somebody's only critter.

★ Step One — choose your species ★

a round little chick

Cheerful, nosy, and convinced that the whole website belongs to him. Loves seed cake and warm windowsills.

a soft floppy bunny

Shy for about ten minutes, then absolutely not shy at all. Will steal your carrot and pretend it was always hers.

a very small kitten

Sleeps fourteen hours a day and considers the other fourteen an outrage. Purrs if you scratch behind the ear.

a very small dragon

Only breathes warm air, never fire — we checked! Hoards buttons, bottle caps and anything that sparkles.

a polite little ladybug

Counts her own spots when she is nervous. Very tidy, very quiet, and secretly the fastest flier in the Corner.

a fish, bowl included

Comes with her own little glass bowl, so she never has to leave it. Forgets everything in nine seconds and is delighted every time.

Auntie's naming tips: short names are easiest for a little one to learn, and letters work better than numbers. Please keep it kind — the whole Corner will be able to see it!
