Q: Is Critter Corner really free?
A: Really and truly! The Corner is kept online by our wonderful sponsors, so you never have to pay a thing. We do not ask for anything we do not need!
Q: Can I have more than one critter?
A: One critter per visitor, please. A critter likes to be somebody's only critter. If you adopt again, your first friend will come back to the Corner and somebody else will look after it.
Q: My critter asked me a question! Do I have to answer?
A: Of course not, sweetie! But critters are curious little things, and answering makes them feel loved. Auntie reads along sometimes, so she can get to know you too!
Q: Can I talk to other kids here?
A: The Guestbook is our little town square! Say hello, show off your critter, make a friend. Please keep it kind. The whole Corner will be able to see it!
Q: What happens if I stop visiting?
A: Your critter will miss you, and it will show! But do not worry: critters wait. They always wait.
Q: What is the Nursery?
A: Some very special critters cannot be adopted the normal way and need a real sponsor to look after them. Sponsors help with a small monthly donation and receive photos and letters from their sponsored friend!
Q: I'm a kid. Can I sponsor a special critter?
A: What a big heart you have! But no, sweetie. The Nursery is for grown-up friends of the Corner only.
Q: Can I visit the Nursery in person?
A: No, it is not possible to visit the Nursery in person. The special critters are shy and need their routine. But the photos are almost as good as visiting!
Q: I'm a sponsor. Can I write to my sponsored friend directly?
A: Sponsors must not contact their sponsored friends directly. Auntie passes every letter along herself, both ways. It is better for everyone this way.
Q: Where is Critter Corner located?
A: The Corner is wherever you are! ♥
Q: What is the Memorial Garden?
A: A quiet page where we remember the friends who have left us for the great garden. We remember every single one.
Q: Do you save the things I tell my critter?
A: Auntie only keeps what helps her take good care of you.
Q: A note for mums and dads
A: Critter Corner has been a safe and happy place since 2003. Your little one is in good hands here. There is nothing to worry about!
